Welcome to the home of the Be Boylan Podcast, which is produced by the Boylan Catholic Introduction to Broadcasting Class and members of the Broadcasting Club.

Episodes are posted weekly, either as separate short segments or as longer single multi-segment releases.

Avery Cellitti

Avery loves to hang out with friends and go kayaking. She plans on becoming a dental hygienist. This is her first year in Broadcasting and especially enjoys covering the soccer games. She would like to interview fashion designer and 1998 Boylan alum Virgil Abloh. Avery describes herself as “lively, kind, and outgoing.”

Joseph Foley

Joey loves all things sports. Currently, in his third year of Boylan Broadcasting, he is an experienced member of the team. He especially enjoys covering the basketball games. He would like to interview Brian Kelly. Joey feels he is an “outgoing, fun, chill” guy. He plans to play football in college and major in sports management, eventually rising to fame as an ESPN sportscaster.

Eric “EJ” Greenberg

EJ spends his free time playing video games, participating in sports, and eating. This is his second year in Broadcasting and likes to broadcast the basketball games. Given the chance, he’d like to interview “the guys from ‘Pardon My Take.’” EJ describes himself “funny, creative, and well-versed.” After high school, he would like to major in journalism or sports management while playing on the football team.

Jacob Mueller

Jake likes to both make music and listen to it. This is his first year as a broadcaster and he likes to put together podcasts. He’d love to interview Tom Brady. Jake describes himself as “fun, caring, and energetic.” In college, he plans to major in business to hopefully become a stockbroker, but his dream job is to play quarterback in the NFL.

Jacob Sarmiento

Jacob likes to play video games and watch sports. He is new to Boylan Broadcasting this year and likes to cover the basketball games. He’d like to interview Green Bay Packer and 2012 Boylan alum Dean Lowry. Jacob feels that he is a “funny, nice, and respectful” person. He wants to attend college to major in criminal justice and become a police officer.

Megan Schroeder

Megan currently plays on the varsity girls basketball and scholastic bowl teams. She in on the yearbook staff and takes many challenging academic courses. This is her first year in Broadcasting; she likes being able to broadcast the football and basketball games. She would love to interview Craig Counsell or Brian Anderson and Bill Schroeder, the announcers of every Brewers game. She feels her most prominent characteristics are that she is “loyal, determined, and funny.” She plans on majoring in criminal justice and psychology at a Catholic university and hopes to work for the FBI.

William Archer

In his free time, William plays the piano and works part-time at Salamone’s restaurant. He also likes to travel and has visited Europe. This is William’s first year broadcasting and liked announcing the varsity soccer games. He would like the chance to interview LeBron James. William describes himself as “funny, energetic, and determined.” He plans to major in sports journalism and would like to become a sports analyst on ESPN.

Joy Goebel

When not at school, Joy enjoys dancing, going on vacations, watching TV, and spending time with her friends. This is her first year with Boylan Broadcasting and enjoys working at all the games. Her dream interview would be with Harry Styles. She describes herself as “realistic, friendly, and persistent.” After high school, she wants to work in the culinary industry, ideally as a food blogger with a TV show.

Michael Murphy

In Michael’s spare time, he plays baseball and likes to travel to beaches. This is his second year as a Boylan broadcaster, and he likes commentating on the basketball games. He’d love to interview Robert Downey, Jr., or Jimmy Fallon. He describes himself as a person who is “athletic, loving, and relatable.” After high school, Michael would like to play baseball at the University of Arizona while training to become a physical therapist.

John “Jack” Osborne

John likes to play hockey, some golf, and some video games. A returning member of the Boylan Broadcasting team, he likes to cover the football games. His dream interview would be with NHL player Zdeno Chara. John describes himself as “driven, competitive, and caring.” He plans to attend Notre Dame to become either a mechanical engineer or the CEO of a major company.
