In this Segment,  Mr. Jeff Phad introduces his elective course “Introduction to Broadcasting.”   Mr. Phad will briefly discuss the history of the school broadcast program and how it evolved into “TitanVision.”  He will cover the focus of the class, which is to connect the Boylan community. Ep. 045 – “So you want to be a Police Officer?” An interview with Michael Phad of the Joliet Police Department.

In this episode of the “Be Boylan Podcast,” I (Mr. Phad) will be interviewing my Nephew, Michael Phad on his career as a Police Officer in the Joliet Police Department.  We will discuss how Mike started his journey to become a Patrolman and his educational background at Northern Illinois University. Michael will discuss his training at the Police Academy and his field training with Villa Park (Illinois) Police Department.  He will share what life is like as a Patrolman in the Joliet Police Department and his goals as he works to advance in the field of Law Enforcement.

Ep. 037 – “New Course Offerings for 2019-2020,” Mr. Brad Frisch discusses his new Technology class

In this episode of the “New Course Offerings for 2019-2020,Industrial Technology Director Mr. Brad Frisch and Mr. Jeff Phad will discuss the Industrial Technolgy Departments new class, “Computer Service and Repair.”  This class is a vocational course designed to teach the student how to assemble, service, install, and repair computers in a stand-alone or networked environment.  We will discuss how the class was selected, the type of students we are looking for to signup for the course.  We will also take a look at how the course will complement the current Cisco course offering, some benefits a student can expect to receive at the completion, the projected job title and pay for someone with these skills. We will explore the Dual Credit (Rock Valley) opportunities and more on this episode of “New Course Offering for 2019-2020” school year.

Join our host Zach Haney in a chat with Mr. Jeff Phad about goal setting and what motivates us to be the best version of ourselves.  Zach talks about overcoming setbacks and failures and redefining the perception that recognizes life setbacks as negative.  Zach Haney has his own YouTube Channel “ZachHaney Speaks.”  He has over 225 subscribers with over 1000 views!  We are blessed to have Zach as a contributor to the “Be Boylan Podcast.”
